Our Solution:
An FG-250 cut-to-length knife assembly with custom blade angle and bevel was used for optimal performance cutting multiple layers of material.
- Unit can be operated in automatic or manual modes.
- Precision ground urethane drive rollers advance the material.
- An internal guide directs the material from the drive rollers into the knife assembly.
- A custom blade angle and bevel is used for optimal performance cutting multiple layers of material.
- Custom guarding was designed and used in order to prevent jamming, while keeping users safe.
- The unit can feed over 40 ft. per minute while set to 48 inch cut lengths.
- PLC controls and an HMI color touch screen were provided for easy setup and operation of the unit.
- The unit required 110V power, and 40 to 60psi of regulated air pressure.
