AZCO Corp. designed and manufactured a cut to length station with an unwind, precision punch assembly, and shear cut slitter assembly.

  • The roll of material is loaded onto a heavy duty motorized unwind.
  • From the unwind, the material goes under a dancer assembly.
  • A dancer arm controls the web of material.
  • From the unwind, the material travels through a precision punch assembly.
  • The unit has a punch-and-die design using a heat-treated tool for clean and fast cuts.
  • Once the material is punched, it travels to a shear cut slitter assembly.
  • The material is pulled off the unwind and through the punch and slitter by the cut-to-length station.
  • Unit feeds and accurately cuts material to length.
  • Components are mounted to a common baseplate to ensure alignment and squareness.
  • Baseplate is mounted to an aluminum frame.
  • The unit is PLC controlled with a color touch screen for easy setup and operation.
  • Unit requires 110VAC and 2.75 bar [40 – 90 PSI] compressed air.
