Requirements
This application required dispensing a non-woven separate sheet on demand. The material was 22” wide x 6” ID x 30” OD of core. The roll weight was 250lbs. This unit could handle rolls up to 1000lbs.
Material: A web that was 12” wide. It was a lamination of nonwoven plastic, and it was a 3-dimensional pocketed product.
Requirements
This application required taking rolls of product, slitting to the proper width and then cutting in between the seals, creating sheets that were a 3-dimensionally formed product. The cycle rate for this application was 80 per minute 12” sheets with an eye registration mark.
Requirements
This custom sheeting system takes an extruded film, indexes and cuts the sheets to lengths in increments of up to six digits, and then feeds directly to an automated stacking station.
The extruded web first enters an accumulator which is equipped with a multitude of rollers and a dancer system to maintain proper web tension. Positioned directly after the accumulator is the FGW-1000 Cut-to-Length unit.
This application required unwinding a roll of aluminum, cutting it into 50” long sheets, and stacking them into 12” high stacks. The cycle rate for this application was 9 sheets per minute based on a 56” cut length.
