SUR-CUT Cut to Length
The
compact FGW is designed for low to moderate
volumes. This automated unit reduces costs
by eliminating the need to hand cut or inventory
cut material and is available in sizes from
4” to 39” and can cut a variety
of flexible materials including films, foils,
non-wovens, high performance textiles, filter
materials, paper, as well as thicker materials
such as Velcro, multi-laminates and composites.
The
FGW
is
easy
to
operate
and
delivers
the
finished
product
to
your
specifications
quickly
and
efficiently.
Simply
place
the
material
onto
the
motorized
unwind,
enter
the
length
and
number
of
pieces
into
the
keypad
and
the
FGW
does
the
rest.
The
unit
is
available
in
either
a
bench
model
or
on
free-standing
adjustable
stand
that
can
be
rolled
into
place
anywhere
within
your
production
line
there
is
a
need
to
cut
product.
The
unit
is
built
to
last,
driven
by
a
stepper
or
servomotor,
all
ball
bearing
construction
and
digital
controls.
The
knife
assembly
has
hardened
tool
steel
blades
that
consistently
offer
clean
cuts
and
long
life.
Besides
being
simple
to
use,
it
is
also
very
versatile.
The
FGW
can
easily
integrate
and
accommodate
modular
punching,
slitter
station,
no-product
sensors,
jam
sensors,
eye
registration,
and
static
