AZCO’s new CLEANFIL INSERTER™ replaces the traditional cottoner that dispenses a cleaner and more cost effective alternative, filler. This new filler prevents bacterial growth, which is found in all natural fibers and reduces cotton dust contamination within the product and production environment. The polypropylene filler also provides easy product removal for the consumer.
The CLEANFIL INSERTER™ replaces cotton with a clean void filling. Polypropylene is converted from a continuous roll to a compressed strip to be placed into the bottle void. CLEANFIL™ fills up to 80 bottles per minute. It is fully automatic and easy-to-use. With dimensions of 30” wide x 33” deep x 64” high, you can just roll CLEANFIL™ up to your present line, plug the unit to an 110VAC outlet, connect the airline and you are ready to go. With permanently sealed lubricated bearings, a brushless step motor, clear anodized aluminum parts, stainless steel covers, and PLC controls, ensuring a clean environment.

They cut a wide variety of flexible materials such as: film, foil, paper, light gauge metals (.25mm/01 in.), non-wovens, foam rubber, ribbon cables, velcro and many others. The small Sur-Cut ™ knife assemblies are widely used for cutting various strips of flexible materials. The open frame design gives easy access to the material. This rotary crusher is capable of thousands of cuts per minute. It is built in a modular configuration so it can be incorporated into a new machine or replace existing units. Assemblies can be designed to your specifications.
The rotary crusher has an extended shaft on the cutting cylinder where a timing pulley or gear can be attached. The rotary crusher should always run faster than the web to ensure good cut quality without disturbing the web. The cut length is determined by the relationship of web speed to cutting speed. Rotary units can have a crush cut or shear cut blade.
A crush cut is achieved by the blade in the top cylinder, cutting against a hardened anvil roll. These units have blade spacing from 2 in. and up and are good for thin materials. The crusher has a unique quick change blade design so even an unskilled operator can install a new blade in a few minutes.

A slitter module can operate as an on-line option on the cut-to-length assemblies; a replacement for worn slitter stations on any web machine; or on add-on to any web processing line.
The simplest application of a slitter is where it is placed immediately before a roll feeder. As the feeder pulls the web, it is automatically slit. A more complex application is where a motorized slitter cuts dense materials.
Crush cut slitters effectively cut thicker, low density materials such as filter media and non-wovens. This is a convenient unit for frequent changeovers.
